Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Ross Noble, Billy Connolly and of course Eddie Izzard. All different, but love'em! You get clips of them in youtube, so you can have a wee peek before you buy!

The Big Yin.

Eddie Izzard, forget the crossdressing thing this guy is a genius when it comes to off the wall humour.

Billy Connelly

Dave Attell, Chris Porter, The Amazing Jonathan.

Jethro is really funny! I love him!

i have 2 favs - chris rock and george wallace

Bill Bailey is amazingly funny. His use of music in his performances makes him stand out from the rest. Failing that, try Peter Kay. His joke about the durability of Hobnobs had me in tears! And I agree - Jimmy Carr is just plain irritating (and so is Alan Carr - must be the surname!).

Martin lawrence!

Lewis Black, George Carlin, and Bill Hicks. Very funny stuff, some of it is kinda dark though.

Joe Pasquale ,Billy Connolly
like you I don't like Lee Evans

Jack Dee. (No, not Billy Connolly, perleeease!). Or that Cameron bloke off the politics shows, he's a hoot..

The master himself Mr Roy "Chubby" Brown

lee evans is the best.iv'e met him and he's a really great guy

ken dodd-

Try Peter Kay

Dylan Moran

I'll be the first to admit he's an acquired taste but I think Johnny Vegas is fantastic. I personally really enjoyed his Who's Ready For Ice Cream? DVD. There's a bit of scripted comedy in it which is quite good but it's stand-up segments that are outstanding.

While I wouldn't necessary put the two of them in the same category, one thing he's got in common with Richard Pryor is bearing his soul and sharing his pain with the audience. I'm not saying all of the stories Johnny tells are 100% aaccurate, some of them are probably just made up for humour's sake - but he plays the role of a vulnerable character.to great comic effect.

I think he's one of those people who can be a bit inconsistent at times. When he's bad (e.g. his 18 Stone of Idiot program) he's awful; but when he gets it right (in my opinion) there's none better.

So like I said earlier, I recommend his Who's Ready For Ice Cream DVD.
