Will a telecaster bridge pickup fit into a stratocaster bridge slot?!
Question: Am considering buying a telecaster, but if I can get the same twang by putting in a telecaster pickup into one of my strats, I may do that instead. I prefer the strat body style anyway.

A telecaster pickup will not fit into a strat bridge slot. To do it, you would have to reroute the area, and drill new holes in the pickguard in order to mount the pickup. I would recommend buying a strat pickup that is rated for better twang.

it should fit perfectly fine, if i were you id rather get a new pickup anyway, its the cheaper option
