Answers: ......eyebrows? Everything else on our bodies seems to have a purpose, except eyebrows!

Yes, the person above is right. This was demonstrated to my mother when she went through chemo and had no eyebrows. If she sweated, it would slide right into her eyes, in the shower, the soap from the shampoo lather would get into her eyes and she had to constantly wear big sunglasses because she would get a lot of dust particles in her eyes. So, they do serve a purpose.

They do have a purpose. They are there to collect dust and dirt particles from falling into your eyes.

Just like men with "pecks"
Maybe decoration.

Eyebrows keep some of the sun glare out of your
eyes.

You obviously have never sweat hard in your life. Get active!

eyebrows surve a purpose to use when you speak... looking surprise expressing your anger.... so forth and so on.. plus adding uniqueness to ones character.

They help you show emotion.

to protect the eyes from foreign particles

it covers the dust and dirt from getting in ur eyes

the provide expressions for out face... like when you angry, mad... or happy... I don't know what the look like when your having an orgasm.... lol

To keep dirt from going into your eyes. The hairs prevent dust and dirt and other things from getting into your eyes from above. They also help us to read people better through facial expressions using their eyebrows. Not only do words, body language, the eyes and mouth tell tales, but so do the eyebrows. :-D

according to scientists it helps keep moisture from entering our eyes...

I guess by now you are feeling a bit browbeaten. heh heh heh

try to shave your eyebrows and look at the mirrow...ugliness!

The eye brows are not there to trap dust and particles, that's the job of the eye lashes. They are suppose to protect your eyes from sweat and the also help to show expressions.

Eyebrows keep things from falling into your eyes. Eye lashes do as well. I know this because a friend of mine got an eyebrow shaved off as a dare and he really had a hard time keeping particles such as dust out of that one eye. I have another friend who had one burned off and he tells the same story. He only has a small part of one eyebrow.

Another more noticable thing we all use our eyebrows for is for facial expressions. That non-verbal communication is vastly important in every culture I know of.
