i'm shooting star!! lol
a wonderful question- i love shooting stars-as u can see by my name!
i have seen 1 before-it was magical. i'd love to see 1 again soon-have a star!!!

i saw loads when i was at sea.all you need is to go somewhere dark with no street lights and i dare say you'll see more shooting stars

Loads. I think it's the right time of year for meteors (another good time is during the perseids shower in August/Sept).

On a clear night at this time just choose a patch of sky and watch it for 15 minutes or so. You should see a shooting star.

I have seen the odd shooting star, but I don't think many of my wishes have come true! I've also watched two meteor showers - one this summer and one about six years ago.

yeh i saw 1 once....it was luverlyyyyyyyy
i was out with my mates 1 night like last year i think and i was the only 1 that saw it....
and it was on the 25th day of sum month (maybe september) cant really remember i just remeber it was the 25th coz thats my lucky number as well.....crazeeeeee

Yes quite a few over the years.

This is a weird but true story...
The night my Dad died, I had to drive about 30 miles to get to the hospital. Ten miles out, I saw a shooting star.....and on the way home, another one in the same place.

He was already dead (though I didn't know it), so I think it was his goodbye to me.

Yes....I have seen them in the US, but in India the night sky is full of them.... something about the curry, I think!

Yes. Get away from the light and you will see a lot more stars, shooting and otherwise. When we were in the country, it was our entertainment. Never got tired of it.

there is a meteor shower predicted for this weekend, so hopefully if the sky is clear well see some more

Yes, I have seen many in my lifetime. In the summer on a clear cloudless night, we would just lay on the lawn and watch the night sky.....saw plenty.

Yes I have once, my hubby told me to make a wish on it, I did and it came true.

i love shooting stars-beautiful!! ur very lucky--thanks 4 sharing that with us, x

hi blue, yes i have, hope you made a wish, for some thing nice, its suposed to be lucky you know

I have seen many, especially when I was younger. I used to lay out in my back yard and watch the meteors, especially in August (Perseids) and October (Orionids).

If you go out within two hours of the sun setting, you can also watch satellites going over including the space station and shuttle.

The best meteor (shooting star) I have seen, actually occurred during the day. I was walking up our village high street when I saw this light shoot across the sky, breaking up half way along it's path.

I hope you see more soon
