FUN music everyone knows?!

Question: I already asked this question in Polls and surveys, but thought I might get a better response here.

We're having a Halloween party tomorrow night. Guests will be in the 30-55 range (big gap, I know - but it's a lot of coworkers...). I'm trying to think of FUN music that everyone would be familiar with to get everyone going. Maybe even getting some of the old farts on the dance floor. haha. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Can't go wrong with late '80's/ early nineties stuff with that age range. It's back, ya'll. "Let Me Clear My Throat" by DJ Kool is awesome to watch drunk old farts dance to. I guess I'd need to know more about the people coming, but that late 80s/ 90s is retro cool for all the peoples now. NO HALLOWEEN PARTY IS COMPLETE WITHOUT JAGERMEISTER. Get drunk and take liberties with each other. Good times.

i would think music that was from the late sixties to mid eighties would be very popular with the crowd. especially if you choose those 'classics' that always seem to get people on the floor, like ABBA, bee gees from saturday night fever.

60s and 70s
Neil Sedaka
Elvis
Barry Mannilow
country stuff to like Johnny Lee
