It is wonderful, it is sad and touching. How old is your daughter? Can she deal with the idea of real death? If she can, and she wants to see it (which surprises me a lot) it would be a good thing.
Like all adaptations, the book is better than the movie.

it's sad, but it's a good movie. it depends how old your daughter is, i would say 11-12ish is old enough, it is really sad, but worth watching
she probably has to read the book for school and instead wants to see the movie. make it a little easier. ha, because junior year or sophomore year you read the book.
