something fun!!

My daughter had a camp out for her 16th birthday - out in the fields tents, bonfire..course too cold now for that...we (grownups) brought pizza (my boyfriend and I camped out to supervise in the back of the pickup - far enough not to get in the way - close enough to shine a flashlight on anything suspicious), snacks, cake, cookout stuff - we were in a local secluded area (live near the woods) so didn't have anyone to worry about noise and all that...

My other teens have always liked beach parties..again, that's a warm weather one...(and I'm in ski country...)....cheap - just bring friends and food -

go carting? fair?

Winter? Tubing at a ski hill or park? roller skating, ice-skating, chuck e cheese (ya I know...),

non physical? tea party, costume party? do something you all want to do together...get babysitter license, take permit test together, shopping, movies...how about going to the mall and you all pick names out of a hat and each person has the buy the other person a five dollar gift for the name they pick? then go out to eat? or combine these?

hmmmm good question...hope there's some cool answers..i guess it depends where you live and what your budget is.

hmmm well lets see if you want boys and girls try a dance party they are always fun you can have lots of people;food drinks;a great out fit; and if you go to mac they give you this free makeover thing like they do your make up but all you have to do is buy $40 worth of their products its really cool and it could also give you a chance to show off your dance moves :)

treasure hunts are fun & keep everyone engaged & working together. hide a series of clues inside & outside, each clue should have a question everyone can answer or an activity that will lead them to the next clue. the final clue will lead to a treasure (idea: chocolate coins for everyone). what kind of theme/clues depends on what you & your friends interests are.

here are some ideas but you can easily come up w/ ideas of your own. i did this for my kids a couple of times & it was a big hit. below are some links to get some ideas. some are for younger kids but you can get the general idea & adapt it 4 your own purposes. you can probably check out books at library on this so you won't have to buy one. have fun!
