How about a book about a girl that has 9 mini dragons and plays music? If that is something you would like check out the author Anne McCaffrey she has this one series that starts with Dragonsong that is really good. The Two Princesses of Bamarre is also good. Princess Bride is also a good book though it is also a movie.
