Which of these two guitars is better?!

Question: I have a link here,

It is comparing my current squier affinity strat with the two guitars i'm looking at the most right now. Tell me which one of the two is better in your opinion, or even give me another guitar to look at around the $300 range.
I play mostly rock, but am starting to pick up on some blues if that helps. Thanks.

My vote would be for the Epiphone G-400 SG. It's the Epiphone version of the venerable Gibson SG and perfect for rock/blues.

I would buy the Ibanex..and second choice would be the Epiphone...I had a Stratocaster..It was nice..but not as nice as the other two..!!
Good luck..

Here's a thought: neither. Both of those guitars are entry-level and if you plan on going anywhere in the music industry you're going to want to get something that sounds good and will last you a long time. I bought a used, Mexican-made fender telecaster for $200. It sounded great off the shelf and I worked on it with my uncle and I've been offered $700 + for it. So I would say look in a local music store and find yourself a good friend who plays guitar and knows his stuff (or a teacher if you take lessons) and get a Fender (not Squier) or a Gibson (not Epiphone). Parker and PRS are good brands also. My best advice is never, never, ever buy an Ibanez. ever.
