When i was little - About 10 year ago
Opening up my barbies and new dolls
And dressing them up on Christmas day
And showing them off to my family.
And buzzing that Santa got what i asked for.

probably when my kids still believed in santa cos it made it more magical and christmassy.
when I was a kid and santa used to come - i miss all the excitement. I have two kids, who are 4 & 2 and they dont really understand yet, so hoping that it will be more exciting this year. Think I would like a big old fashioned Christmas with carol singers, getting together with family and friends etc
The most memorable christmas i had was 1997.
It was the year my dad died and my daughter was born soon after, it was also my mums last christmas with us.
She knew it was her last and did everything she could to make us all enjoy the day after the terrible year we had all had.
Every christmas we raise a glass to mum and dad.
Why do they never show blocks of flats on Christmas cards?
It was agesss ago when I was about 10. (6 years ago)
It was good because my family was all friends, they have fallen out now and there are two halfs. Only one half will come or the other.
It was also good because it snowed LOADS and I remember making a snowman and sledging down my street =)
