Is $400 to much for a guitar?!

$400 is a basic starteing point for a fairly decent guitar. If you are just starting out, you could find something a bit cheaper such as a Fender Squier. If you are dedicated and plan to play and improve, $400 would be a very mininal investment.

No, not at all. But I'd look into a couple of different guitars in that range. You could find some nice Epiphones (SG, Les Paul) or Fender Squire Strats that might be better in the price range. But it's really up to what feels right for you. I'd say 400.00 is a good price range for something that sounds good and isnt a toy. This is a guitar that you'll be able to play as you get better as well. If you're going to play and stick with it, this is a good starting point.
well not really.but keep on trying to convince her about it. im sure sooner or later she will have to say yes. =)
but for that kind of money i rather buy a Fender guitar. Fenders are juss like way better quality guitars................atleast i thnk they are i dunno wat u thnk but thats juss my opinion.
