People eat raw cabbage all the time. You'll frequently find red cabbage in salads, and they use raw cabbage in cole slaw. It tastes like raw sewage, but then, cooked cabbage tastes like hot sewage, so i suppose that makes sense. It's very good for you. Just tastes awful.
