Question: how much did your violin cost,and is it hard to learn how to play?anything else i need to know?

I have two violins currently. The first one was very cheap because I didn't know if I wanted to really play seriously. That was about 50 or so dollars. When I started to really become serious about playing I bought a second one with my own money (bought it at 650 dollars --- bargained with the seller, was a 1000 dollar instrument).
I picked up on the violin very quickly. I learned through the Suzuki Method. Really easy, I highly reccomend it and a good private music instructor.
I bought a Copley years ago but it seem that a sister company now does their instruments. I bought the viola for about $175, and tought my self free over the internet.
