as far as fixing goes you can take it to any guitar store and ask for help, or siplmy use the wonderfull thing we're on, the internet for how too's. For learning again use the internet to it's full potential the web is full of guitar free lessons. It takes time and practice to get where you want to be, good luck and have fun with it, i have for 9 years now.

youtube teaching videos?

changes strings is really simple, take it to a local music store and they can do it in 1 minute. If they are nice, maybe they can teach you how to for the next time one breaks. And for the lessons just teach yourself

Guitarnoise.com is a great site-- learned a lot there.
and there are a few other sites that are really helpful-- just do a google search! also, do a google search on the steps on how to replace your guitar strings.

you need to buy some new strings and then you can ask the music shop to fix it or figure out on your own........i would say take lessons from my husband he is awesome.......and plays by ear...................

schools teach guitar
or pvt lessons from a music store or person (i wud do it for u but i dunno where u live)

best to learn from a friend though

u need to buy a string at the music store
the string names from thicker to thinner
are E,A,D,G,B,E (which one broke?)

you need to take the old string off and ask for a new string at store

then pull it through and turn the key at the top and wind the new one on

if youre self teaching yourself
its best to learn some songs by hearing it
but if youre just one of those people like myself
then youre gona need help from an instructor or friend
and about your string
you can always go to your local music store
and ask them to replace it
it should cost around 20 dollars or so for a new string
and installation

i would take it to a guitar shop and have them restring it and tune it for you for now. You need to learn how to change your strings and tune it yourself soon though. maybe you can help somebody with homework or housework for guitar lessons in exchange. use the barter system

to fix the string you need to replace it. You buy strings in a pack of six usually and should change them out every few months at least with regular play. Google video has some good instructional videos for learning guitar and learning to read guitar tabs can help in learning to play songs you like and keep your interest in it up.

Im starting guitar too, and I just bought a beginners dvd and it helps alot! If you break a string buy one of the same type (example: a E string). String it through the bottom portion of the guitar and stretch it to the tuning twists at the top. Send it through the hole and wrap around tight. Twist the tuning untill its in tune. Youll have to re tune it every so often since its a new string.

You can't fix a string. You have to replace it. New strings can be expensive though. I just got a bass and I'm still learning too. I don't know the best way, You could buy a book.
