Question: Why are these considered surprises...its just 8 people in a room picking the most popular artists it has absolutley nithing to do with music.

I'm surprised Amy Winehouse got as many nods as she did. She's so off the deep end, it's really just sad to watch. That she got 8 nominations is beyond me. She had one song, Rehab, and it honestly wasn't even that good.
The whole Grammy deal is really a bunch of nonsense anyway.
I would like to see Kanye NOT win anything again, just to see him blow a fuse... :)
i actually was surprised that daughtry got nominated... it was trashed by every1 when it 1st came out .. n now their nominating it? im not too surprised at the other ones.... but daughtry... yea he can sing but give me a damn break.. they cant play at all..
