What were some great songs from 1977 - 1980?!

Question: Well in 1977 I was a newlywed and I remember the Fleetwood Mac album it had some great songs that still sound good today.

Steely Dan had a great song called Deacon Blue. Saturday Nite Fever album was all the rage.
Billy Joel's Just the Way You Are.

In 1978 I heard a new group for the first time called Dire Straits and their song was called Sultans of Swing. Blondie's Heart of Glass. Roxanne by the Police, Bob Marley was popular and my favorite song was Is This Love which my kids listen to today.

1979-Michael Jackson was still fairly "normal" and I had the album Off The Wall which had some great songs, I liked the Police. One of my favorite songs by Tom Petty which was Dont do me Like that which still sounds great today. Everyone was listening to the Clash I saw the Pretenders video called Brass in Pocket where she was a waitress.MTV used to show actual videos back then.

1980 the 70's were over and new music I listened to was Bruce Sprinsteens Hungry Heart, Master Blaster by Stevie Wonder, Fire Lake by Bob Seger, Refugee, by Tom Petty

the list goes on and on great music, great times!
