i'm the kind of person like you that gets nervous, but if you don't try out you'll regret it. if you do mess up laugh it off, nobody's perfect. if you don't make it say that some one dared you to try out. then no one will know. but if you are that interested as you sound, you probably have some talent.

Why would you want to be a cheerleader...?

You need to open yourself up, who's cares if you are clumsy?(And a lot of the time, when you fall down, and get up and giggle about it, guys think its hot.) Anyway, You are who you are, and if you able to laugh at yourself and be real bubble and outgoing, people will like you a lot because you can do things they cant, and that's not care who's watching. But if you are one of those quite people, you sometimes cant change who you are. But open yourself up. An empty room can be so loud! Never give up on yourself, and everything happens for a reason!

Here is what some speakers do when they have to give a speech and they are nervous. Choose one person or an object such as a clock and give your performance to that one person or object. Don't look at any other faces. As far as you are concerned there is only you and the object or one person in the room. If possible have a friend in front who has seen you practice. If not, then choose an object. Don't look at the crowd, just look at just the one thing or person, and give your best performance to that one thing or person.
