Explorer electric guitar.......i want to know what brand to get can somebody hel!
Question: i am thinking of getting a explorer electric guitar but i dont know what brand i shold get and it has to be cheap cause i am not made of money lol!

If you are going to buy a guitar, you are going to get what you pay for. Whether you pay $100 for the squier type set up, or $3500 for the Paul Reed Smith.
If you are just now learning to play, I am going to suggest to get an acoustic guitar. You will learn to play AND you will learn how to put TONE into your music. On the electric, the amp does that for you. If you simply want to get into a garage band and make noise, go with the electric. If you think that music is the way for you professionally as your future, start with the acoustic and actually learn to play. You will not be disappointed in 20 years when you have that million dollar house and the helicopter and the private jet. Then again, if you just sit in the garage and make noise, it can be a good release.
Your choice, but I will forewarn you that if you buy a cheap guitar, you will buy a CHEAP guitar.
A cheap acoustic is always going to be a better alternative to a cheap electric, simply by virtue of the workmanship put into the guitar.
Gibson makes the Explorer. Try Epiphone. Samek might also make a knockoff.
I don't play but my husband does. He started on an acoustic. Now he traded up. Some advice he was given is that alot of people quit trying to learn to play because they buy a guitar that doesn't fit them right. That is why there are so many in hoc shops. Which is where I was going to suggest looking 4 one. Do some reasearch at a music store, talk to people there and try some on. Then you will know what to shop for. Good luck, being able to make music is great therapy. P.S. I don't have a helicopter or million dollar home, but I hope my answer is worth something.
