Well, his tricks are obviously "fake". And I mean fake as in illusions not as in its all camera tricks. because that is very insulting, he works hard to pull off his tricks so they look the same in person as they would on TV. And to me its ok if he uses actors occasionally, because some tricks you HAVE to have an "assistant" because you can't just pull it off by yourself, and the illusion is for the viewers at home. And he invites people to come see his show live, so...yeah. They are illusions, and he admits that, he doesn't want people to think he is Jesus or has some kind of powers. His stunts are real though. And it always make you think "how the HELL did he do that?!?" I love him :)
Agree with you.Most are tricks.But many of these people are into the occult and it is not out of the realm of possibility that occult powers factor into some of the act.Don't know with that guy.I do know of others in the past for sure.
There is no doubt that is fake, an illusion. Amazing illusion and amazing work; fake, hard to believe but outstanding performance. .
He's an amazing illusionist and showman. Not to mention he sure does benefit from the fact that David Blane has the personality of a tree.

I love this guy. He is a great illusionist, and is the first to tell you that what he does are illusions and tricks. Tat is what magic is, and when it is hard to figure out and boggles the mind, he is doing a great job.
He also has a great love for the history of magic and for Houdini, which is very admirable
my kids and i enjoy his shows on the TV,he is clever regardless of some being fake.We had a look on his website and he actually shows you how he does some of his illusions.cheers :)
Tons of people say he's a fake but I disagree. Look at all of the demonstrations he has done that are just too amazing to "fake". How did he make that little girl older in the clothing store? How could a person fake a levitation over those super hot lights on the Luxor? Remember when he shredded himself on a Halloween special? I mean, of course that was an illusion, but how did he do it!?! I love Mindfreak!! Criss Angel is a huge role model in my life and sooo many others! I love how he is a dare devil and always pushes things not to the limit, but way over! :)
