eh yes - we have a cheap *** shop called Dunnnes in Ireland and the cheap *** brand they had was called st bernaard - believe me some of those clothes looked like they'd lost their rag if you get my drift ......xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i only know bernard manning and he was a old git

or bernard matthews the turkey killer

i spilt a pint over bernard manning once in a bar in blackpool. he got angry. but shnorbitz was lovely. like great danes, st bernards are gentle giants. and real good friends too, they'll bring you a little barrel of xxx rum you stranded in a snow drift. lovely dogs!

Have you ever watched channel 4's "Black Books"?
The Bernard in that is quite angry. :P

Saint Bernards are friendly because the breed has been developed over a couple of hundred years to be friendly. This was done by eliminating the aggressive strains of each generation and the ultimate out come is this big friendly oaf. They are usually associated with mountain rescues in snow countries of Europe.

apparently you've never seen Cujo.

Betwen the ages of 4 and 8 I was beaten up on a daily basis by a Bernard who was a few years older than me. He may have been friendly but had a strange way of showing it!

My experience, Bernard killed a lady and cut off her arms in Atlanta, Georgia!! That wasn't very friendly, Blue!!
He is still on death row in San Quentin State Prison in California!!!! He was a mean, bad bad, man. :-((~

my dad's name is Bernard, he's quite nice i suppose... haha
