White guitars turn yellow?!
Question: hey i just bought my self a alpine white les paul, i know within time they will turn yellow, im just wondering roughly how long would it take to start to notice the yellow-ing? within a year? 5? also would there be any tips to slow down the process of its yellow-ing?

Yeah, i bought a white stratocaster and after 2 years, i noticed it was getting a dull color and some guy told me I'f I'd clean it once in a while (I forgot what he told me to use) then i wouldn't have that problem.

My cousin's took about 10 years to yellow...it still looks good. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do to stop it. It has something to do with chemicals in the guitar's finish.
