You must make sure the video is mp4 format for iPod. If not, you may try some third party software. I recommend Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite to convert DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPod. It is the fastest converter I have used. You can download this software free from here

Its hard to do and the softwares out there can mess up your ipod. Apple pretty much designs it that you have to purchase vids from itunes. Its hard to transfer anything to itunes that isnt bought from itunes. I have dowloaded a couple programs to convert them but none of them worked very well & I was afraid to ruin my ipod.
1. You should upload the video to your iTunes from your local disk. First download the google video then upload it to iTunes.
