Why do tightrope walkers always hold an umbrella?!
Question: What does the umbrella function as? A balancer? A parachute...? Hehe
Answers: What does the umbrella function as? A balancer? A parachute...? Hehe
it's like how you put your arms out to the side to help you balance on one foot--it makes it easier to balance if not all the weight is in one central spot.
You just never can tell when it might rain.
It's to entertain you.
You probably couldn't walk a straight line holding an open umbralla on a windy day. They are hopeing to give you that feeling even though indoors it's really their body shifting the rope and not the wind.
Some times a prop is something to focus on, though. So your mind can go to mush.
in case of rain for sure!
