I'm 16, and going on a long car trip with a 9, 6, and 4yr old. Any ideas of !
Question: My brother has a PSP and I have a DS, so I figured I'd bring those. There's a DVD player in the car, but we don't have any new movies and the kids will only sit still for so long.
I guess I could bring coloring books. Maybe some snacks like Goldfish or something. Ummm ...
See, the thing is we're going to be doing most of our driving during the day. So I need ideas of stuff to keep them not-annoying!! xD
Also, we leave tomorrow (I pretty much just found out) so there's no time to go out and buy anything ...
And if you have any ideas for kid songs, tell me because I'm planning to make some CDs. The kids love songs like Who Let The Dogs Out and stuff like that.

Eye Spy! ha ha that game is a classic and really fun. I have little sibs too and that game always keeps them busy. You could also tell them stories - you can make it up or read it to them. Ask people you know if you can borrow any new dvds maybe ones that they havent see. :) Well good luck!! :D

sleeping pills!! no im kidding thats messed up snacks definitelly nothing they can sing to lol coloring books r good unless they r like me i get car sick when im trying to concentrate in the car but i also slept in the car alot
try benedryl it will make them sleepy
or you could teach them some dicipline and avoid constant sensory overload and stimulation

You could always play games like:
-Sign Game
*Find words on signs starting w/ a letter going in ABC order
-Thing Game
*Find things(outside of the car) starting w/ a letter going in ABC order
-Animal Game
*think of animals starting w/ letter in ABC order
*Better 4 littler ones who might not be able to see out of the window
