Without Himalya mountain Indian geographical condition would have been worst. No water - Less rain - desert all over. Autometically social status was very different than now.
How do you relate the Himalaya Mountains with social status? Social status is so superficial. It an exhibition of power over.

Himalaya is a wall which is saving India in both ways Geographically and socially from enemies.
Himalayan Mountains was not there all clouds pass India and there was no rain and snow and no rivers which are coming from Himalaya.Socially, With China India has to many fights for land,other wise like Tibet China has captured half of India.
Simply as a father without a job.
Our skin color would be white. No blacks so no racial discrimination.

& i think by social status --- u mean that Himalayas give a world known image to India & displays a rich natural culture of India ....so !!! what.. ..
