Who liked Bernard Manning.Why.?!

Question: Was lucky enough to catch a charity comedy night at the grasshoppers in Preston. It was obvious he wasn't in best of health! But like a true pro gave a fautless night of huge belly laughs, enjoyed by all the audience. He did the raffle and donated a nice sum of money to charity from auctioning off sports memorabilia.Often misunderstood,But shone like the star he was.RIP Bernard

I did because he was funny!

I did..Because he made me laugh

He was a fat racist pig.

The question is Who liked Bernard Manning and why?.
I didn't so I can't answer.

I went to see him and it was a great night comedy is comedy and you have to look at it like that other wise whats the point...

Boris 4, thought him funny?

By no stretch of the imagination was that big fat foul mouthed bigot FUNNY !!!

MAYBE there may be some that liked him, as for me...
No way. He will not be missed....by me. euck!

not me

What was to like about a racist, sexist pig?

agree with Derek G

i thought the guy was realy funny. he loved to take the piss, and it was all in fun. and he put hes fingers up to the PC brigade.

People who are racist but are the kind who think they aren't - probably white people who say things like "I'm not racist - I have some black friends"... etc

Also, people who have bad relationships who identified with his complete self-induced misery.

Note the past tense, as he is a dead man(ning) and would maybe still be alive today if he hadn't lived such a sheltered life.

Hilarious......

he appealed to the old school if you know what i mean, he was very intolerant of certain types of people, but also very popular.

He had a good act but I wouldn't say he was brilliantly funny. One thing though, he was his own person and for that he deserves our respect. RIP.
