A serious question about Britney Spears...?!
Question: So the lady was wheeled off in an ambulance yesterday for "mental" issues. I'm actually a fan of hers, and I feel sorry for her right now. BUT, WHY ON EARTH was there the whole fire department, police and ambulance department of that city AND a plane (like omg) surrounding her house? I mean, come on, if Britney was a "normal nobody person" would there have been that much attention. Which brings me to my Q: is the whole celebrity status and the media HEALTHY for general society?! Opinions!

The fire dept is usually considered the first responders in medical emergencies becaue of the average2-3 response time with full medical equipment. Police cruisers may be able to respond but are not equipped to prove full ife support.
On a typical medial call, fire and ambulance are dsipatched first, with police notified to provide assistance as needed.
You need to remember that on a medial emergeny call, fast reponse time is critical, do dome redundancy in responders can happen.
As far as why anybody cares that Brittany had another meltdown.....I have no idea

Usually the fire department and the police are first on the scene (I have no idea why the fire department is always called for a medical emergency), then the ambulance shows up (if needed), as for the plane, that's just there because she's a celebrity.
It's not healthy.
Anytime someone dials 911 the police, fire dept and ambulance have to show up no matter who it is or what the circumstance is. I'm sure the helicopter is because she is Britney. I do not feel sorry for her. She is beautiful, talented, and rich and has absolutley wasted everything she has been given. The whole celebrity status isn't healthy for anyone, but maybe she can serve as an example to the rest of us what can happen when a person continually makes horrible decisions.
being a celeb can be a biotch sometimes. All that was not necessary. maybe a few cops and an ambulance was necessary. But then again there were kids involved and I guess that's why everyone came also.
i think that the whole celebrity status has done a lot to britney with all of the pressure but there is no denying that she actually has some mental problems
just needed poionts.
If you are rich enough, you can have all that plane stuffs even if you have just one mosquito bite.
And you know there lots of psycho fans that like someone to an extend, they want them dead.
