Have a party for him. Let him make the guestlist, have a big BBQ in the backyard, stay hidden but watch over them, let him be the "cool guy" for the day.
well sine you brought him to Hooter's, I'm guessing it would be okay with you to maybe have a few friends over and they can listen to music and just hang out....
maybe have some food and music.
have his friends come over and have a good time.
family should also be invited.
