Who do you support the writer strike?!
Question: the issue is money but don't they have enough money writting the shows without the extra pay from the dvd and other extras
don't they consider people who don't get much money or volunteer for a living. i think it would hurt us more because they may raise prices on the dvds

I support the writers. Everyone else is making a fortune, why should they be cut out. If they think you will buy them, they will raise DVD prices anyway, writers or no writers.
A. "volunteer for a living" is an oxymoron.
B. I don't support the writer strike. Well, I don't have a problem with them striking but I don't think they should blacklist the actors or others who cross the picket lines.
after they right the show they dont get paid anymore. they dont get paid for the show if it is on mutiply channels and they dont get paid for dvd sales so actually they dont make a lot of money. so i support the writers and its not like it really has effected tv anyway
I support neither side, both are greedy.
The money from extra sales should go to reduce the costs of products/services, and also go to the shareholders of these companies as dividends... because they put up the risk money for the firm as an investment. Any other excess should be taxed away as excess economic rent.
Most everybody else works for an hour and gets paid for an hour. These people want to work for an hour and get paid forever. Just give them a decent hourly wage. Then if they want more, then let them invest in the shares of the firm and get thie income stream from that.
