Elderly sportstars on quiz shows.why dont they get a proper job?!

I dont' think they know what else to do. The ones who are good speakers also make money doing "motivational speaking" at business conferences and awards etc. It's not like they can just go and work in an office - they would have to start at the bottom.
The only other option is to advertise healthy cereals so they probably get paid better to do quiz shows..
