Where are Box Offices?!

Question: I have just bought some tickets and it says 'to be collected at the box office'. Where on earth is a box office and do I need to take any proof of purchase with me?

P.S am i being thick, is a box office any random post office? lol

it is like a ticket booth----the place you give your tickets to before entering the event place....It is usually in front of the building.

A box office is where you would buy your tickets to any event. It was named that because there used to be box seats to opera's and the like. Now it's just 'wherever tickets are sold'.
