Hard or soft guitar pick?!
Question: So I have a friend that says that I can only use the soft,
My instructor says hard.
It doesn't feel different but apparently sounds different.
Which do you use?

Soft is more for a fast, punk riff
i use hards for chords and otherwise melodic songs
they give off a clearer, louder tone
But i usually just use soft
I use a soft pick..
My instructor said to use it until I was more comfortable with the guitar..then I could use harder ones..

whichever sounds better i have a hard
