How old is old music?!
Question: Im 19 and I listen to music from the 50s, 60s and 70s and aswell as the 90s and 00s (not a fan of the 80s), but I also listen to classical music if I'm in the right mood for a bit of Beethovens 7th for example. How old is old music, and do any of you, particularly younger people, think it is 'sad' to listen to?

If it is not from the last 2 years, it is old. Nothing wrong with finding good music from the past.
I think it's a good thing to have varied and eclectic tastes in music.
As old as human civilization is.
I think music was used in ritual stuff, long time ago when human lives in cave

there is no such thing as old music, people just say that instade of saying the lost intrest for that song
IM ALSO 19 AND I LUV LISTENIN TO OLDIES (60S-70S) THEY R MY FAVORITES.. DONT FEELSAD 4 UR SELF..EVERY BODY HAS THEIRS DIFFERENT TASTE ON MUSIC..ITZ KOO : )
I'm 14 and i like old music specially 70s and your are 19, 5 years older then me. Who cares if young people watch/listen old music. If the old music is good then obviously people like to listen to it.
Everybody has different opinions. Sometimes i wish i was back in 50 or 60s- if you say that to your modern friends then they would say "have you lost your Brain".
It is also proven that atlest 45% of age group of 13-20 like old music as well as new music.
