What are good and appropriate, current pop songs for a 12 year old girl?!
Question: My 12 year old step-daughter wants me to add some music to her ipod and I am running out of current songs that won't make my head spin. I am not SUPER strict-but absolutely no sex, drugs, or bad words. Any ideas?

I believe, (I'm not sure, but I think) that Jordin Sparks new CD is a pretty good one. I hear Tattoo on the radio all the time and it doesn't have anything inappropriate in it, and I think her whole cd is like that. One band that my 12 year old sister really likes is called "Apples in Stereo", and they're good, too. She has one of their CDs called "The Discovery of a World Inside the Moone". Umm... Also the band Jimmy Eat World is good, and they actually play music that has some quality to it. I think they might have a couple of songs that might be too old for her, but you could just keep those couple of songs off of her iPod. An older band is M2M. Again, my sister really likes them, and they're completely fine. I hope this helps. OH! Another really fun band is "No More Kings". They are so much fun to listen to, and there are absolutely no curses or anything about drugs or sex or anything like that.
