I think anyone who is into porn industry is after money not for fun or fame.
it is a life full of mesiry and disrespect, u will get alot of cash and maybe buy a limo and a fancy house. but i think innerly they are not happy, i have saw that in many biographies about pornstars , plus there is the risk of getting HIV or liver diseases , and at that time they will lose every thing . jenna jameson as an example had recently got a skin cancer and is not acting anymore. so what she gained was alot of money but she lost her health in return

I used to listen to a lot of "Rover's Morning Glory" (morning talk radio in Cleveland, Ohio).
Rover (Shaun Street), the host of the show, used to date a porn star and likes bringing that up every once in a while.
Apparently, these girls only have to do one or two shoots a month and can easily make anywhere between 125,000 and 250,000 a year depending on the types of scenes they decided to shoot. No wonder they seem to like it so much ;^).
The men make a few hundred bucks a shoot (no pun intended), but don't feel bad for them. After all, they do get to do the dirty (and play out fantasies most men only dream of) just for signing a contract.

In regards to their personal lives, I recently read an article about a porn star (Devon something? I can't remember) who gave a speech at some college university (the details are really slipping here). Anyways, that college had a pornography class (sociology people get to study all the cool stuff).
Anyway, this girl had just come from shooting a scene with two large black men. She also brought along her lanky skater boy punk rocker boyfriend. Seeing all four of them on stage was quite fantastic indeed.
