Have you stopped watching TV?!

Question: The internet is far more entertaining, I think.

Answers: The internet is far more entertaining, I think.

my sentiments too

I tend to do both, watching Van Helsing as I type!

i do both it is good to have a choice even with sky there are times when there is nothing to watch

I stopped a few years ago , i play mmorpg's , and look at the news through rss . i rent movies and whole series.. it's far more fun to be able to watch them in one go.

As for quiz shows , they weren't my thing to begin with..

yeh! tbh I don't watch as much tv. There's nothing but absolute shite on it. The last decent thing was LOST but I don't have sky and I can watch it on the internet.

Heroes was prrrooooopppaa shite.

I haven't stopped but I watch less than I used to, at least until I get around to buying my own freeview box.

i watch tv on the internet

yeah i know what you mean , since discovering facebook i hardly watch tv lol

i only seem to watch csi and mock the week and have i got news for you type shows on tv nowadays

Yep I totally agree. It's just garbage these days that's on TV.

I've stopped watching ITV1 on Sunday evenings, recording the S African wild life programme for watching at leisure the next day.
I'm fed up with phone in result dancing/singing/skating events making viewers suffer for up to 12 weeks. We don't all live in the dream world.
At least the 2012 Olympics will only last for 3 weeks.

I have to say that even with the strike, I enjoy a few scripted series (the Office, My Name is Earl, the Simpsons), and I *have* to have Animal Planet and the History Channel. Sometimes I'll watch weird, wild surgeries on Discovery Health (and I'm still upset that Oprah's taking that over, so now I have only a year to enjoy such programming as "The Boy Born Without a Face" and "The 300-Pound Tumor".) I watch American Idol, even though it's not the coolest thing to admit to. Sometimes I watch my cats watch Animal Planet, which is better than most any program!

But yes, the internet has its own entertainment value. For one thing, it's much more interactive. You see much weirder and more interesting things, too. And you're far more likely to learn about new music there! If I had to do without one or the other, I'd have to bid a fond farewell to my TV.

I seldom watch anything on TV, but then there's seldom anything on that's worth watching.

Naw. My late night shows have new episodes on, so I still watch it. But I am on the internet more often, because all my other shows are running out of new episodes.

We don't watch TV anyway. Our TV is in a basement rec room that we seldom use. It just doesn't interest us. We talk, play games, have company, read, and we both have hobbies such as stained glass, wood carving, etc.

We seldom make time for TV. We prefer to get our news from newspapers, magazines, or the internet because it's more in-depth. We get our weather reports from the internet and radio.

This year we will use the TV to watch the political conventions and Superbowl. Or perhaps to rent a movie every once in a while. Even then, we go downstairs, watch what we want, then turn it off and come back upstairs.
