If Led Zeppelin was an all-British band, why does he sing in an American accent?!

Question: Your talking about bands from the seventies, who grew up before the british Invasion and grew up emulating American performers.

Answers: Your talking about bands from the seventies, who grew up before the british Invasion and grew up emulating American performers.

there are alot of british performers who do this, both musically and as actors......Hugh Laurie is a good example as well as David Gilmore....when Gilmore sings alot of times he loses or diminishes that lovely accent.....i think it isn't something they really are conscious of, it just happens

because when you sing..
the british accent isnt really noticeable.

Many times the accent will go away. but it is noticeable in a couple of songs. only for a couple words. when you hear Robert Plant speak, it is a pretty heavy accent though
