Answers: Between the book or the movie (The Lord Of The Rings) which do you like better?

I liked the books better because they went into more detail, and if you have any kind of imagination, you can visionize the story, also the books had a part that the movie neglected, one of my favorite parts, about Bill Bombadil, it is in the first book if you want to read about it....

Fare Well good friend

Since did not read the book I guess the movie

I like them both the same. The books were well done, but way too descriptive in my opinion. Instead of suspense it was just dragging. The movies were also well done, but left out much. If I really had to choose, I would go with the books because they have been the basis and first spark for most fantasy books.

I like the movies better because it shows insteads of tells

the Movie!!

the movie. I'm not that big of a reader, but I do like to read. it usually be my school books, the Bible, and magazines like Sister to Sister and Jet.

Unfortunately I cannot answer this question as I have never read the books, I only saw the 3 movies. They were awesome!

The movie never finished the book.

the book, although the movie did get it right

i have seen the movie or read the book s

On the whole, both The Lord of The Rings books and movies remain among my favorites. However, the books were far more detailed than could be interpreted through film.

I would say the movie.

I like them both as their each individual own forms of art.I know books are made different from the movies. they have to combine things change a story line a little etc to make it all work on screen,so I don't compare them to each other but as separate forms of art and entertainment. I found them both to be great works of art. the only time I have ever stopped watching a movie( that was once a book) is when the acting was so bad or graphics, cinamatology, etc, were just not there.Lord of the Rings is a Movie Trilogy Worth watching. just don't compare it to the book. If they tried to make it like the book it would have been in production a lot longer then any one could have afforded. my motto is never judge a movie by its book, judge it for its self. you could miss a great movie.

the books r way better

The movies were great and I really think that the directors did a good job in trying to put JRR Tolkeins ideas on film, however the books just reach so much further into ones imagination and allow the reader to create an even more fantastic view if middle earth......

I like the movie the best. i couldn read the book because of my yes. i dont see very well sometimes.
