Question: I've been playing on and off for 4 years and I still suck. Do i have a chance of ever getting good? People without talent trying to play musical instruments is liek someone with a facial deformity trying to be a model. Should I quit?

practice makes perfect and there are plenty of people who have had your problem but turned out to be one of the best...just maybe not for guitar. and maybe perhaps there is something better you can do but dont ever quit on things like that, the only things u should stop doing are the bad things
You might want to seriously consider making a living by doing something else. But if you enjoy playing the guitar, never quit. You don't have to play well to have fun with it and enjoy the music.
well, you should get a snare drum. if your good at it. try the drums.
its true though. people are born with musical capabilities.

when i hit three years i felt i hadnt improved a bit.
i think you should play REGULARLY which tends to help, and get a guitar teacher.
not to learn songs, but to help you improve. A tutor will help you pick out the things your not so good at, and teach you new things you can improve on.
it takes a while, but eventually if you keep at it you can expand your talents.
dont be discouraged! guitar is the best!
