Question: i want to play in my room, something thats not too loud. i plan to play video game music and Muse songs. is a roland 15W (100$) a good deal? if so, should i buy effect pedals? if not, is there a better amp out there preferably under 100$.

If $100 is all you are willing to pay for an amp., you really do not have a lot of choices. The Roland is not a bad deal at all.
