Question: How long have you been playing? What inspired you to start playing? Any tips on getting better?
I've been playing for about a year and a half. Ryan Adams is awesome, that's why I started playing.

hi i started playing in dec 1980.. why started, just like music.. in awe of hendrix i think i was. to get better practice every day for 1 hour at least.. and learn scale theory and why a chord is what it is.. see ww.all-guitar-chords-.com playing the same thing over and over will make you better ... use all 4 fingers will make them stronger. and learn others music .. all styles... have fun....most of all have fun...

yeah i started about a year ago. i just got sick of playing the piano alone to songs. but i would suggest practicing.
go to ultimate-guitar.com and find a good tab of a song you like. just practice that song over and over. it might take you a while but before you know it you will be able to play it. and you will get better that way.

I have been playing for about 8 months. I had always wanted to play an instrument my dad was extremely talented and could pick up any instrument and play it so I always wanted to be like him. I can't give you any tips you are a lot further on than me. I have real trouble changing chords and the F, don't get me started! :)
sorry I don't have any tips for you...because I just started last Thursday taking lessons!
