8 gb is about 11-12 movies if they are 700mb a piece. 8gb would be roughly about 2000 songs. 8gb would be about 23-24 hour long tv episodes. The mp3s would stay the same size, but if it's for an ipod or mp3 player, you would be able to convert the videos so they would be smaller. You don't usually need the highest quality video for such a small screen.
