Is having a warm-up comedian like saying 'I'm not funny enough' or was it just a bit of self-indulgance?
Don't get me wrong, he's a really funny guy but there was just something missing...

I've always found with Frankie Boyle that he always has to lower the tone and start getting offensive, especially on Mock the Week. Everyone else is funny, funny, but he always starts getting blue and smutty. He can be a genuinely funny guy but he really annoys me when he gets offensive. Has anyone else found this?
What channel was that on? He's the funniest thing on Mock The Week so wouldve watched it.
