Making music with your computer?!
Question: (more advanced with voice and special effects, so mp3 or wave style, not midi...)
. Well I'm studying animation and some of this module courses include sound editing. Problem is we use Mac at college and I have PC at home... I was wondering: is there any alternative software for "Garage Band" but for PC? Friend told me "Fruity Loops", but is not free and I want to make sure before I buy. Is FL any good? Any other names ?

Well i'm sure nor garage band or logic were free aint it? Good things cost money, otherwise you should download the demo. FL Studio is a good option for the begginer, altough theres Logic, Ableton Live, Reason, Cubase,etc etc etc. I'd say Ableton Live is the best DAW for PCs nowadays.
Im a DJ/producer and Ableton Live is my favorite. You can do a lot of stuff with it
