I would like to get into Prince.?!
Question: Could anyone recommend me his best songs, singles or albums. His most famous ones, or any i might have heard before (ie used regularly in films and on tv) but just didnt know the name of or that it was by Prince, thanks.

I would personally start with Purple Rain (both C.D. and the Movie). Includes Purple Rain, When Doves cry and I Would Die. Very easy to get into and the performance in the movie (including Morris Day and the TIme) are excellent, bit cheesy story wise but hey! Also from the 80's "Lovesexy" is very good has Alphabet St., Lovesexy and Positivity. From 90's Diamond and Pearls is excellent, has Cream, Gett off etc. From recent output "My Guitar" is a great song and I really rate the album 3121, the title track and Lolita are amazing.
