Who else thinks that violins don't belong in rock music?!
Question: *ahem* yellowcard.
Answers: *ahem* yellowcard.
Some bands can make it sound good, like The Bird and The Worm from The Used has violins and cellos and it sounds really good. But like Yellowcard has a violinist and its really annoying.

I couldn't disagree more. There are many bands who have violins in rock music. There is this one band, I don't remember the name, who actually uses an electric violin. It sounds awesome. Don't be close-minded to guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.
What about Linkin Park's KRWLNG remix?
If it sounds good, it sounds good! Don't knock it.
I don't care as long as they can make it fit in the music somehow. I remember this guy used like 20 violin bows on his electric guitar. okay, not related but just adding it. It sounded rad. It all matters if it sounds cool.
