I haven't broken my arm before, but I have had a baby (though not by natural birth)...and I have to say I think I would prefer the broken arm. There was three hours of intense labor before I got my epidural and that was pain like nothing I have ever experienced. I honestly could not contain my screams...they just ripped right out of me.
