Online DVD Stores?!

Question: Last year in March 2007, I bought a box set of DVD's from the online store TVAddicts.
When I received it, I noticed that there was no 3rd disc, just a duplicate of the 2nd. The DVD's had poor quality and I immiedatley e-mailed them. Over the course of many months, I sent them e-mails asking when they would send me new ones and they said they didn't have them in stock.
It has now been a nearly a year, and still no replacement DVD's. I have e-mailed them twice in the past 2 weeks, and they have yet to reply, even though they usually answer within 2 - 3 days.
What should I do since they don't answer me? I do have the original receipts and everything.

Have you considered contacting the better business bureau?
That would probably be your best bet.
Also, I'm assuming since you bought the DVDs online, that you probably used a credit card or debit card of some type, I would contact your bank/ CC company and explain your problem to them as well, they may be able to get your money back for you, if nothing else...

Go to Netflix they rock. It has any movie you can imaghine or for watching movies on ther computer go to Movieforumz.com so you can watch movies from the 50's to movies in the theater now. I hope you enjoy

A site I read said the company you mentioned is already being investigated by the Canadian authorities. TVAddicts has been screwing people over for a long time and they've been under scrutiny since 2006. One of the victims posted this info so others could tell of their problems with the site and help with the investigation:
Sgt. Jean-Yves Ducharme
Royal Canadian Mounted Police - Federal Investigations Section
514-939-8307
jean-yves.ducharme@rcmp-grc.gc.ca

The investigation is still ongoing with raids on the company offices having taken place. The site below has all the info I summarized above and links to stories about whats been going on with the investigation, raids, etc. Best of luck to you and I hope all this gets sorted out very soon!
