What is a coda?!

Question: it is a repeat point in music.
when you reach a certain point in music you return to the coda and start from there.

think of a simple pop tune - they usually have a verse then a chorus then a verse etc etc - if you wrote the actual music at the end of the chorus you would return back to the coda and start the verse again.

A coda is like is like a finish sign. When you think about a song, such as a church hymn, there is usually a chorus, a verse, back to the chorus, maybe another verse, the chorus again, and so on. When you are done with all of the verses (or you just want to end the song), you will go to the coda, which is the ending of the song.

A coda looks like a circle with two lines through it.

To put it simplier (if that's a word:), when you see 'to coda' or 'Da Capo al Fine' go to the coda, or 'fine' and play 'till the end.
