God can be anything that He wants to be. We have been told in the Bible that God is our Father in heaven.
I think some of the pagans have female deities.
I don't think so - God created man in his likeness then as an afterthought gave him woman because he was lonely and needed a helper. So my guess is that if God is gendered (which I don't think he is) that he would be a man.
I think God is a man because a woman would not have given us women the short end of the stick :)
